Tower Talk Episode #5: Warmind Impressions - The Good, The Bad, & That Sad Excuse For A Campaign
Greetings fellow Guardians! Welcome to the third episode of our new Destiny-focused video discussion series, "Tower Talk!" As Destiny continues to change and evolve, and Bungie continues to refine the way they communicate with the community and deliver game updates, there's going to be a lot to talk about in regards to Bungie's shared-world shooter in the weeks and months ahead. As such, we expect Destiny to be a topic of discussion each and every week for the foreseeable future, so it makes sense that we break off our discussions on the game into their own separate series. This will free up additional time and resources on our podcast (which you should be listening to every week!) to focus on the latest and greatest news throughout the video game industry (and make all of this content more easily digestible and manageable in the process).
This week, Ben and Brent return to discuss the release of Destiny 2's latest expansion, Warmind, specifically focusing on the campaign. Vicarious Visions were praised for their handling of the PC build of Destiny 2 in regards to its technical performance, but do they have what it takes to deliver a robust, engaging narrative that the Destiny community has been clamoring for? Other topics of discussion include the Exotic Weapon changes, social media's reaction to the new Raid Lair, and several quality of life changes introduced with the 1.2.0 update.
