Thursday Night Indie Spotlight Ep. 53: Typoman Revised (PS4 Gameplay)
Thursday night is indie night! This week, I (@piccolo930) fired up developer Brainseed Factory's wordsmithing puzzle-platformer, Typoman Revised. I spent about 75 minutes with the game playing through the Prologue and its first chapter, and I have to say this is a really clever puzzler. It's very cool how all of Typoman's puzzles have all been designed around spelling and creating words to figure out how to get from Point A to Point B. Spell the word "on" and the platform in front of you gets activated and starts moving up and down to get you where you need to be. Add a "D" to the word "rain" and a pit full of water dries up so you can pass. Typoman's puzzles make you think, too. I regularly felt pretty dumb over the course of stream as I tried to fine tune my thinking cap and come up with an answer as to what I was supposed to be doing. If you're a fan of puzzle-platformers, you should definitely check out Typoman Revised. It's a smart and unique puzzle game that's unlike anything else I've played before. If you've yet to check out Typoman Revised for yourself, take a look at the video below and see what it's all about!
