Attention aspiring journalists!
Is your fledgling gaming voice crying out to be heard? Are you sitting on gaming’s next great editorial? We want to hear from you! Short Pause is looking to expand our horizons, and we’re asking you to help us make this a reality! If you are interested in submitting an article to the site for future publication, we’d love to read it!
It’s really easy, here’s how it works: Just click the little button underneath this brief and insanely riveting introduction to open up our submission form. Fill out the desired information, including your name, email address, article subject, and any other information you’d like to share with us. Attach a copy of the article you’re planning to submit to the site, accept the terms and conditions associated with the submission, and click “Submit” to send it our way! We’ll look over any and every entry that crosses our fancy wooden desks, and if it’s something we feel would be a good fit for our site, we’ll get in contact with you regarding official publication!
While we will absolutely read any article on any topic that is sent our way, we’d especially like to hear from balanced gamers who are interested in helping us by writing editorials, covering the news, and reviewing games. The gaming landscape is more vast than it has ever been, and we’d like to bring our readers as much content from as many different avenues and viewpoints as possible. Also, try to keep extremist fanboy/fangirl views to a minimum! While we welcome all opinions on the site, we ask that you be provocative and rational in your writings to encourage healthy debate and conversation. If the title of your article is "Xbox Sucks Because It's Not Sony," or "I Wish Ponies Would Die," you may want to reconsider whether or not you should submit it for consideration on our site!
Please note: this is not a monetary transaction. Make sure you carefully read the terms and conditions before you submit an article for consideration, and feel free to ask us any questions you may have about the submission process. Articles received will be submitted on a volunteer basis. While we’d love to be able to pay freelance journalists for their time and effort, it’s not something we’re able to do at this time. By the same token, we're fronting all of the costs to run the website so you don't have to spend a dime! We’re viewing this open submission process as more of a symbiotic relationship; we provide the forum and the outlet for your article of choice, and you fill the site with more great content. It’s a “win-win!”
We’re really excited to read what you guys have to say and get started on the next phase of Short Pause! We can’t wait to continue on this journey with you!
