Short Pause Gaming Podcast #59: Quantum Break's PC Version, Destiny 2 Details, & Is Sony Bringing Crash Bandicoot Back?

It's a two-man show this week as Frankie and Bender are out Valentining (this is totally not a word but I'm running with it). It's a blast from the past as Brent and Ben deliver Episode 59 of the Short Pause Gaming Podcast! The fellas get together once again to discuss the latest and greatest in the world of gaming. The topics this week include:

  • Quantum Break is Coming to PC - Microsoft dropped a bomb this past week when they announced Quantum Break was coming to PC day-and-date with the Xbox One version. Some fans were not pleased. Is Windows 10/Xbox One cross-buy going to be a normal thing moving forward, and what does this mean for the future of Xbox?
  • More Destiny 2 Details are Revealed - Investor calls delivered tons of gaming news this week, including the fact that Destiny has officially changed its development and expansion plans again. While Destiny 2 is officially a 2017 title, we now know that a large-scale expansion for the game will release this year in its place. Is this expansion going to be more like The Taken King or House of Wolves
  • Ubisoft News - Assassin's Creed is officially skipping 2016 as Ubisoft re-analyzes the course of their annualized franchise, and Watch Dogs 2 is set to arrive before April 2017. Also, what is this "new high-potential AAA brand with strong digital live services" the publisher is talking about?
  • Is Sony Bringing Crash Bandicoot Back? A casual slip of the tongue at Toy Fair 2016 this past weekend has a whole lot of people thinking Crash is finally set to make his triumphant return to PlayStation. While the rumor has since been amended by NECA (the toy company who inadvertently revealed the bandicoot's return), the fellas aren't buying the cover-up. Is there any credibility to this rumor?
  • January's NPD Numbers - It's pretty much status quo for last month's NPD numbers, as PS4 remains the number one console and Call of Duty: Black Ops III remains the number one piece of software. Also, statements from Sony and Microsoft, Call of Duty's impressive run at the top, and are Xbox gamers worth more to Ubisoft than PlayStation ones?
  • Plus, this week's new releases and much, much MORE!
