E3 is almost here! Ahhhhhhh! Join Brent, Ben, Bender, and Frankie as they once again get together to talk the latest and greatest in the world of gaming leading up to E3 2018. Topics this week include:

  • Pokemon Revealed for Switch - Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee! have been officially unveiled for the Switch, bringing a more casual, Pokemon: GO inspired experience to Nintendo's handheld. As the rumors suggested, this will something of a reimagining of Pokemon Yellow. In addition, a new "core RPG" entry in the series is planned for the second half of 2019. Will this deliver the hardcore Pokemon experience long-time fans are looking for?
  • Fortnite to Switch? - Leaks have all but confirmed that Fortnite is Switch-bound, with a likely reveal coming during Nintendo's E3 presentation this year. Will Fortnite, with its heavy emphasis on online play and occasionally teamwork, find a home on the Switch? 
  • Bethesda Announces Fallout 76 - Bethesda surprised everyone this past week by announcing a new Fallout title. Rumors suggest, however, that this is a much different Fallout experience, one with more in common with Rust and DayZ than Fallout 4. We'll learn more about the title at E3 this year. Will this bold new entry in the series resonate with franchise fans?
  • Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is Real - After a retail leak formally confirmed the rumored game, Ubisoft officially acknowledged that the next entry in the Assassin's Creed series will indeed be Assassin's Creed: Odyssey set in Ancient Greece, and we'll learn more about it at this year's E3. Is Ubisoft returning to annual Assassin's Creed releases? Will this build on the tremendous suceess of Assassin's Creed: Origins?
  • Mega Man 11 Launches in October - The Blue Bomber is back, and his ultra-difficult brand of precise action platforming hits current generation consoles when Mega Man 11 launches on October 2. How will the game's new "Double Gear" system affect the tried-and-true series formula the game is known for?
  • Battlefield V Heads Back to WWII - Battlefield V is officially headed back to World War II, and the game looks as gorgeous as ever. With Black Ops 4 charting a new direction for the Call of Duty franchise later this year, what does Battlefield have planned to compete?
  • PlayStation 5 Talk - Sony's John Kodera made some interesting comments recently regarding the next generation of PlayStation and his stance on Sony and portable gaming. Just when will we actually see the PlayStation 5? And would Sony actually give portable gaming another shot?
