Gatchaman Crowds - Episode 1 - Q&A

Gatchaman Crowds - Episode 1 - Q&A

Hajime encounters JJ

What does this anime remind you of?

This anime reminds me of Men In Black, very much. There are criminal aliens and undercover agents whose mission is to capture and detain them. Then, the agents have the ability to be undetectable to regular humans and also be able to erase the memories of people who do see them. Where's Agent J? Oh wait; there's a guy named JJ?

Do you think it's any good?

So far, the anime looks very intriguing despite the fact that it looks just like M.I.B., or perhaps due to that fact. I enjoyed Men In Black and think I might like this as well. Now that Gatchaman Crowds Insight is being simulcast, I realize I need to go back and watch the 2013 season (Gatchaman Crowds), since I'm new to the series.

What do you like most and least about this show?

I most enjoy the character Hajime. She's really pure of heart and reminds me a lot of Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. I can't wait to see what ridiculous things she'll do next and expect her to make me laugh a lot.

My least favorite aspect about the show is the CG. I'm not a fan of computer generated animation in anime, especially when there's a noticeable difference from the regular artwork.

What was your favorite moment so far?

My favorite scene was after Hajime had become a gatchaman and spilled the secret like an idiot.

What's my favorite Social Media comment?

Now how quickly can I get caught up to see the second season?
