Lesbians vs Lizards

In short:

A princess of a magical kingdom gets banished (from her kingdom) when her people discover that she can’t wield magic. Forced to live on a military base with similar women, they pilot Ragnamail mecha units in order to slay dragons. They are the first line of defense against the dragon invasion, risking their lives for a nation that despises them.

What I liked:

-       Strong, sexy heroines

-       Alternate dimensions

What I disliked:

-       Misogynistic

It’s similar to:

It's like World Trigger with dragons instead of neighbors, and all of Border is female.

Recommended Audience:

If you like seeing women in compromising, degrading situations, this show is for you.

Bottom Line:

Cross Ange Rondo of Angel and Dragon appeals to sex, in a prison rape kind of way. The world’s physics are unexplainable, and magical things happen because "magic". Most importantly, the series gives you a false pride in feminine strength and beauty, when its greatest characters are men.

If you want to watch a better series about women at war, try KanColle. For a better story about mecha and the future, try Knights of Sidonia.
